Losing weight and maintaining the right weight requires perseverance and adopting new habits of life. In the process of losing weight, we are required to “reprogram” not only our eating habits, but also our thinking habits, in order to adopt a healthier and more correct lifestyle in the long term. Adopting the new lifestyle prevents crisis situations such as, for example, the need for drastic weight loss when summer “surprises” us.
To achieve this goal, I focus on “cracking the personal genetic code” for slimming, for each patient. The multidisciplinary approach combines several layers: the mental, the physiologicaland the change of image during the process.
I work in the “contract of engagement” method for life change, in which the patient takes responsibility for the change while setting goals andpassing daily reports. Formy part, I offer you full availability whether you are in Israel or abroad, active involvement in changing the lifestyle at home and family conduct, providing family guidance for enlisting support and assisting in the weight loss process. I learn from you about the contents of the refrigerator and pantry, advise on planning the shopping in the supermarket and assemble a personal menu for each of the patients, based on personal acquaintance and in accordance with his character and agenda.
“Lose weight in style”
I believe that self-image is a crucial part of the process and as a result I have developed the “Lose Weight in Style” method, which also combines personal counseling and styling aimed at providing patients with assistance in adapting to their changing bodies:
Over the years, we all develop eating habits and stick to them at the level of the subconscious. Alongside our lifestyle, we also develop an image of our body that is engraved in our minds and is part of our self-image. A person who has been obese and has not worked on the important part of adapting his thinking and self-concept to the changes that occur in the body, will always continue to think “fat” and there is a high chance that he will return to his initial weight after losing weight.
Self-image is one of the reasons why people “break down” in diets. In order to be able to lose weight once and for all and even stay thin, we need to reprogram the brain, just like a computer programmer.
